PE Learning Pathway - What is Private Equity?

The IPI Private Equity Learning Pathway is a series of 12 units which provide a holistic understanding of how a Private Equity fund works.  Topics range from Deal Valuation to Compliance, from Fund Structuring to Managing Portfolio Risk, along with other topics such as Capital Raising, Business Management and Responsible Investing.

In this introductory unit, our lecturer is Dr Keith Arundale. Dr Arundale gives you an introductory overview to all things Private Equity fund-related, setting the scene for the subsequent units in the PE Learning Pathway. 

Topics include: Sources of Funding; PE Investment Stages; Risk & Return; Portfolio Company Acquisition, Management and Exit; Fund Structures, and Investing in PE Funds.
